TOPIC: "Where Do We Go From Here: What the Trump Administration’s DEI Executive Orders Mean for Employers"
In his first days in office, President Trump issued a flurry of executive orders, including two that have significant impacts on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the public and private sectors.
Many employers are uncertain how these orders affect their workplace policies and questioning whether they can continue these programs.
Join members of Foley Hoag’s DEI Solutions practice for a practical, informative webinar where we will break down:
- The content of the executive orders
- The impact the executive orders have on federal
- contractors and the potential consequences of non-compliance
- The effect the executive orders have on other employers
- Best practices for responding to the executive orders
Our Speaker: Christopher Feudo & Laura Gradel
Chris Feudo represents and counsels employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. He defends clients against discrimination and harassment claims and represents clients in union, wage and hour, and contractual disputes.
Chris regularly represents employers in federal and state courts, before administrative agencies such as the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and before alternative dispute resolution organizations such as JAMS and the American Arbitration Association. He has defended employers against numerous discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints as well as in wage and hour litigation and investigations. Chris has also represented employers in complex contractual disputes, including litigation over non-competition agreements and in disputes over the misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information. In addition, he represents employers in labor relations matters, including before the National Labor Relations Board with respect to representation petitions and unfair labor practice charges.
Chris regularly helps clients negotiate and draft complex employment agreements, including agreements for high-level executives, and advises them on the creation and implementation of workplace policies that comply with state and federal employment laws.
Boston Magazine named Chris as a Top Lawyer in Employment each year since 2021. Chris also has been selected as a Super Lawyer in the areas of Employment & Labor since 2018 and listed in the 2023 and 2024 editions of The Best Lawyers in America.
Laura Gradel resolves complex litigation disputes for clients in a diverse array of industries including financial services and life sciences.
