TOPIC: "Why Self-Differentiated Leadership Matters in the HR World"
One of the toughest positions that exist in the work world is that of an HR Professional. All too often you are caught between taking care of the employee and taking care of the company AND, taking care of yourself. Todays’ virtual learning session will provide a shared working definition of a “Self-Differentiated Leader” and how to become more of one. Understanding and intentionally using this concept can provide more confidence, resolve, stamina, connection and less fear to the incredibly complex challenges that knock on HR’s door each and every day.

Our Speaker: Stephen Gianotti
Stephen Gianotti, TEDx speaker, author and entrepreneur, has been a practitioner of individual, group, and organizational effectiveness for over 30 years with a specific focus on thinking and acting from a “whole system” perspective. Stephen brings a comprehensive understanding of systems thinking, organizational learning, diagnostics, learning and training needs analysis, personality & emotional intelligence assessments, an in-depth knowledge of organizational development and the coaching process. Stephen has worked with over 500 companies around the world and coached over 2,000 professionals in the US and abroad at the emerging, middle, upper middle and Executive levels of profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Much of Stephen’s work includes working with leadership teams who benefit from his realignment process particularly when the leadership team has lost or added members or experience a change in organizational structure or focus. This process usually includes individual & team coaching, assessments, surveys, & interviews to help guide the transition needed to realign the thinking required to support collective & collaborative actions.
As a longtime member of The Society for Organizational Learning, he has served as Chairperson of the Global Association for the Society of Organizational Learning since 2018. Stephen is currently a facilitator for the UNH Family Business Center where he facilitates monthly peer group learning sessions with 9 of New Hampshire’s Chief Executive Officers. He is recently returned from Vietnam where he was a speaker & presenter at a Global Forum on Personal Mastery and from Slovenia where he conducted workshops on using systems thinking in creating public policies for the green initiative.
For three years, Stephen was the official Zoom Safari Guide for Elephant Havens Wildlife Foundation, the first and only Elephant Sanctuary (www.elephanthavens.com) located in Botswana, home to the world’s largest African Elephant population, whose mission is to “Protect & Preserve the African Elephant”.
